Waiting for Your Yes

100 Word Pentecost Sermon Inspired by Acts 2:1-21

And at this sound the crowd gathered and was bewildered,
because each one heard them speaking in the native language of each.

Jesus ascends, promising to send an advocate. 
You look up, aching for the return of what once was.

A mighty wind catches you off guard, 
Change sweeps through, burning like fire. 

Prophetic voices
rise above chaos and fear.

God is not finished with us yet. 
Look at the reality of now.
New beginnings are unleashed 
waiting for your “yes."

Honor the past. Give thanks. Release.
Move with Spirit-filled breath.
Listen to fresh voices.
Embrace unfamiliar experiences. 

Soar into a future of hope that is
more abundant than you can ask for or imagine.
The best is yet to come.
